One whose arrow is shot
One whose arrow is shot. Saraha's Royal Song: 'As calm water lashed by wind turns into waves, so the king thinks of Saraha in many ways, although one man.' One whose arrow is shot: the arrow has left the bow—the enlightened one can't be called back. Saraha is the master whose song is the tantra vision. The king thinks of him in many ways, but he is one.
The goose is out!
The goose is out! 'Is there a difference between Shiva's and Saraha's approaches to tantra?' Not essentially—only formally. The goose is out: two paths—devotion and meditation, love and awareness. Different doors, same destination. The goose was never in the bottle—consciousness was never trapped.
This honey is yours
This honey is yours. 'As a cloud rises from the sea absorbing rain, so from spontaneity replete with the Buddha's perfections are all beings born.' This honey is yours: all beings are born from the same spontaneity. The honey of existence is available to all. Don't seek it outside—find it in your own nature.
Love is death
Love is death. 'Why is there so much resistance towards you?' Because you're attracted—deep love brings deep resistance. Love is death: love means the death of the ego. You resist because you don't want to die. The one who loves the master is terrified—because love means dissolution. Resistance proves the attraction is real.
Man is a myth
Man is a myth. 'To a fly that likes putrid meat, sandalwood is foul. Beings who discard nirvana covet samsara.' Man is a myth: what you call 'man' is a construct, a fiction. The real is beyond all constructs. The fly prefers rot—the mind prefers samsara. The sage sees both as one.
I am a destroyer
I am a destroyer. 'I daydream about enlightenment—more delicious than love and fame.' Daydreaming is the mind's trick. I am a destroyer: the master destroys your daydreams, including daydreams about enlightenment. The destroyer is the true master—he demolishes all fantasies. Enlightenment is not a daydream—it's the end of all dreams.
Truth is neither holy nor unholy
Truth is neither holy nor unholy. 'Samsara and nirvana are not two—how will the deluded ever understand? Bees know honey is in flowers.' Truth is neither holy nor unholy: truth is beyond all categories. The deluded discuss nothingness and compassion as two things—they are one. The bee knows without discussion—be like the bee.
Be true to love
Be true to love. 'I am a frog—can a frog become a bee?' Yes! Be true to love: everybody can become a bee. An unpatterned, spontaneous life is the key. The frog in the mud can become the bee in the flower. Don't live from the past—live moment to moment. That's the tantra vision.
Mind immaculate in its very being
Mind immaculate in its very being. 'When still water is stirred by wind, it takes the shape of ice. When the deluded are disturbed by thoughts, the unpatterned turns hard. Mind immaculate can never be polluted.' Mind immaculate: your true mind is already pure—samsara and nirvana can't pollute it. A precious jewel deep in mud. The ice is just disturbed water—melt it and it's pure again.
Hingle de jibity dangely ji
Hingle de jibity dangely ji. 'Hingle de jibity dangely ji—do run nun de jun bung.' This is wonderful! I am driving you sane—just a step more. Hingle de jibity dangely ji: the disciple speaks gibberish—the mind has broken down. The master celebrates: when the mind breaks, enlightenment is near. Gibberish is the mind's surrender.
